A WARM WELCOME BACK
After their successful pop-up shop last year, The Black Pounds Project have now made their permanent home in Unit 20 of GWA!
Founded in 2020 by CJ Lloyd Webley to support local Black entrepreneurs, The Black Pounds Project provides various forms of business support and mentoring for those who may otherwise struggle to access these resources.
The shop features BPP members’ products such as crafts, clothing and lifestyle goods, all produced locally. Members can rent a small space in the shop and can help to ensure its success by manning the store on a rota basis.
If you are a Black entrepreneur you are welcome to pop in for a chat about becoming a member, and how to have your work featured in the shop.
The Black Pounds Project Shop is currently open weekdays 10-5, with plans to open on weekends soon.
